Run the old‑fashioned way

We started as a family‑run butcher shop, and we're still family owned and operated today. We've been a retail shop open to the public from day one.

Our Burleigh Heads factory was custom built, with a huge coolroom of fresh meat. Our butchers cut fresh every day, and we know exactly where our meat comes from.

We work hard to compete with the big supermarkets on range, quality and price.

Good questions

Are you open to the public?

Yes. We've been a retail shop open to the public from day one. Come in Monday to Saturday.

Can I get meat cut my way?

Ask at the counter. Our butchers are on site.

What's your returns policy?

If something isn't right, call or email us straight away and we'll sort it out case by case. Due to health regulations and the risk of food tampering, we can't refund or exchange unwanted purchases once they've left the shop.

Where do I park?

Our shop is at 64 Hutchinson St, Burleigh Heads, just off the M1. (Parking details to be confirmed with the shop.)

NorthFrom the north

Brisbane, Southport, Robina — heading south on the M1

  1. Take Exit 87, signed Burleigh Heads / Southport (State Route 3).
  2. At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Bermuda St.
  3. After about 450 m, keep left into Hutchinson St.
  4. Follow Hutchinson St through the roundabouts to number 64.

SouthFrom the south

Tweed, Coolangatta, Palm Beach — heading north on the M1

  1. Take Exit 87, signed Burleigh Heads / Southport (State Route 3).
  2. At the end of the ramp, go straight ahead onto Bermuda St.
  3. After about 600 m, keep left into Hutchinson St.
  4. Follow Hutchinson St through the roundabouts to number 64.

What this fixes

Things we found on the current website. Each one is easy to check.

The shop can't take ordersProduct pages show no price and no "add to cart" button, but the site still has a cart icon, and page descriptions in Google still say "order your meat online".
A broken email addressSome pages show info@gcfmc.com (missing ".au"), including the returns answer in the FAQs. Emails sent there may not reach you.
Old Christmas noticesThe Christmas page still says "Christmas 2025 — online pre-orders now closed", and the shop page banner is a Christmas banner.
Broken social linksThe Facebook, Instagram and YouTube buttons on the Contact page are missing "https://", so they point to pages on your own site instead.
Mixed numbersThe home page says "nearly 25 years", About says "almost 24 years", FAQs say "24 years ago". Pick one.
Small stuff Google sees"Quaility" spelling in the Contact page title. Copyright still says 2025.
